An Afternoon at the Museum

We took Molly to the Smithsonian this weekend, specifically to visit the new Ocean Hall. First, we saw some land animals.

The Moose gets a half-second.

But, the seal is a bit of a yawner.

This is just one of the many attractions in the new Sant Ocean Hall. It was quite crowded on opening day. We'll have to make several return trips before we get to see it all.

NOLA 5K

Molly lounged/slept through her first 5K on Saturday. Nevertheless, we were up and at 'em early for the benefit of New Orleans Rebuild. Daddy and Uncle Joey came too, but they didn't run. They drank Starbucks and cheered us on while we did all the hard work. ( I wish I had taken a picture of them.)

We get a lot of questions about Molly's hair -- what color do you think it will be, was your hair this light, etc. So, I thought I would ask you, our faithful readers, for your opinion on the matter.

How would you describe our little red panda's hair?

1) Come on, you are delusional. She is a blond. There is barely any red in there.

2) I see copper hues. Maybe redheads won't be extinct in 2054 after all!


OR -

3) I think she has the same hair color as Trixie. We'll call it the Trixie-do!
