Party Animal

Molly attended her first birthday party over the weekend. She had a wonderful time toasting her friend, Colin. And, as you will see below, she did a pretty good job of making sure he felt loved.

It all started out as an innocent game.

But then Molly followed Colin to the pool and put the moves on. It seems our birthday boy is none too interested.

Of course, this doesn't stop Molly from going right after his hand anyway.

Colin shies away from the hand holding, but he can't escape the Little Red Panda bear hug.

At last, Colin escapes the clutches of his pursuer by climbing atop a picnic table. Or so he thought...

Two Irish Ladies

Molly is all smiles while visiting with the original Margaret Ginevan or, as we affectionately refer to her, Grandma Peg.

Hat Trick

Molly eyes the prize.
She carefully reaches for the hat.
Success!
Oops -- she didn't see that coming!

Spaghetti Uh-oh

Molly enjoys her spaghetti and meatballs at dinner on Sunday night.

You may not be able to tell from this picture, but she has spaghetti sauce up to her armpits. It was not pretty.

Nevertheless, she made it out relatively unscathed and was even able to pose for photos with her adoring fans - I mean, our family.

Driving Miss Molly

Daddy lets Molly take the wheel. She didn't drive anywhere, but she did get to honk the horn!

Ooh, I think I like this...

Bathing Beauty

Molly cleverly uses the tub to avoid showing too much skin. Apparently all of our modesty training is working.

Whew -- taking a bath is hard work!

Stayin' Cool

Summer is almost here and that means temperatures are on the rise. We've experienced some pretty hot days over the last two weekends. Lucky for us, Molly has turned out to be quite the little fish. She could stay in the water all day!

She enjoys hanging out in her baby pool at home. As you can see, she attracted a bit of attention. Here our neighbor Mary looks on.

But, when it's really hot, mommy and daddy head for their local oasis -- Grammy and Poppy's pool.

Doesn't Molly make a fetching water lily?

Happy Birthday, Nanna B!

Happy, Happy Birthday to our dear Nanna B!
Little Red and her mom hope you have a truly spectacular day.
Love you, Mom!

Lil' Booger

This easily would have been one of the cutest pictures taken in Texas -- IF my little panda didn't have her finger in her nose!
Nevertheless, aren't my sisters lovely?

Family Photo Op

Here are a few more shots from our trip to San Antonio.

Molly, Erin and Ridley in front of San Fernando Cathedral.
San Fernando is celebrating its 275th anniversary this year. Parts of the original cathedral, which was completed in 1749, still exist within the current building. San Fernando is also the final resting place of many heroes of the Battle of the Alamo.
Everyone poses along the Riverwalk.

Nanna B and G-Daddy get some lovin' in.

Molly is oblivious to the Alamo, but it's back there.

Water Baby

In Austin, Molly took her first dip in a pool -- and loved it! She played happily for nearly 45 minutes. I blame the Texas heat.
